Sunny days

It feels like it's been a while since I blogged. After having a hectic time at work it just felt like I needed some time away from my mac, but it doesn't mean that I'm not fiddling on with things. I'm still pushing on with my hexagon quilt, and I'm fully in printing mode. So hopefully I'll get some more posts up soon.

Through October we had some beautifully sunny days which inspired the second one of my framed commissions.

When my eldest was a baby I often found myself singing this little song to her, probably because it was one of those annoying tunes in one of her baby toys that you can't turn off. These things stick.

At first I framed it up with a white background which really didn't work, I think it looks far stronger against the black. For the third frame, I'm considering trying my hand at a spot of quilling. Never tried it before, but hey, why not?
